Taziki’s CMO Patty Trevino brings aboard PR Firm InkLink Marketing
I was able to sit down with Patty Trevino, Taziki’s CMO, about her decision to partner with InkLink Marketing as our new public relations agency.
Trevino said wanted a team experienced with corporate/big brand outreach as well as with local franchisee community marketing, including New Store Openings (NSOs).
“Inklink came highly recommended,” she said.
Introduced through mutual connections, InkLink had made a positive impression on their past and present clients that word got back around to Trevino.
“What I appreciate the most about them is not only their understanding of how franchisee-led companies work…but also that they are very proactive in their ideas,” she said.
“They will come to the table with ideas before we even ask.”
Their primary role so far has been to support Taziki’s in promotions that we do throughout the year. These local and brand-level promotions are an essential part of the Taziki’s brand.
They have also been helpful in some of our NSOs; most recently, they spearheaded the grand re-opening of the Chattanooga market. They also played a role in the Taz Rush social media activation and the Dolly 9-to-5 promotion supporting the Imagination Library.
Taziki’s celebrated Dolly Parton’s legacy with a special feast on September 25th (9-2-5) to enumerate her classic song, 9 to 5. A portion of proceeds were donated to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, a book gifting program that she founded.
These projects gave InkLink a chance to get their feet wet with the brand and show off their skills. They also reached out to local stations to get earned media and impressions, including a spot on the Cover Two with Blaine and Zach radio show for National Gyro Day.
InkLink’s ability to generate and provide consistent work are what stand out most to Trevino. She said, “They know how to roll up their sleeves and get stuff done.”
“I look for agencies that want to be a true partner, and that’s what InkLink is to me. They are true partners, they just want the brand to be successful.”
